HOW IT WILL WORK

Your Amazon numbers.
A connected workflow.

Bring marketplace activity, business costs and bookkeeping into a shared view. Here’s the intended experience when the integrations launch.

Planned capabilities · product in development
01

CONNECT YOUR ACCOUNTS

Start with the source.

The planned setup will use account authorisation to connect Amazon and Xero, rather than asking you to share seller-account passwords.

  • Choose the relevant Amazon account and region
  • Select your Xero organisation
  • Review the permissions requested
02

PROVIDE THE BUSINESS CONTEXT

Make the numbers yours.

Marketplace data needs your cost and accounting context to become useful reporting.

  • Confirm account and tax mappings
  • Enter or import product and landed costs
  • Identify any additional advertising data required
03

EXPLORE & REVIEW

See the whole picture.

Use product reporting and settlement detail to understand different sides of the same business.

  • Compare product contribution and margins
  • Inspect payout breakdowns
  • Identify missing reports, costs or mappings
04

ALIGN YOUR BOOKKEEPING

Bring reviewed activity into Xero.

The intended posting workflow will prepare accounting entries for review and help you find the matching bank deposits.

  • Review entries before posting
  • Track what has been sent
  • Complete bank matching in Xero

BEFORE YOU CONNECT

What to expect.

Is Reconcile Ready available now?

The software is in development. This website explains the planned product and lets you explore sample interfaces. Live Amazon and Xero connections are not available yet. Early-access enquiries will open once the contact details are confirmed.

Where will product costs come from?

You will need to supply product purchase costs and relevant freight, duty and preparation charges. Amazon data alone does not include your complete cost of goods or business overheads. Missing inputs will need to be visible in reporting.

Which countries, currencies and tax rules will be supported?

Initial coverage is being defined. The GBP and Amazon UK examples on this site are illustrations, not a commitment to regional availability. Supported markets, currencies, Xero plans and tax treatments will be published before launch.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST CONNECTION

A little preparation.
A clearer starting point.

Use this checklist to understand what a future setup may need. No account access is requested by this preview website.

01

Your Amazon setup

Identify the seller account, region and marketplaces you want to report on. Note whether you sell through FBA, merchant fulfilment, or both.

02

Your Xero organisation

Know which organisation should receive entries, who can authorise access, and who will review account and tax mappings.

03

Your product costs

Gather purchase costs and relevant freight, duty and preparation charges. Make sure costs can be linked to your products.

04

Your reporting starting point

Decide the first period to review and identify anything already posted to your books. Historical coverage and changeover handling will be confirmed before launch.

A CLEAR DIVISION OF RESPONSIBILITY

Data, decisions
and the accounting record.

The intended workflow combines source data with your business context. It doesn’t remove the need for review.
